Job Description

A sales promotion account director within a sales promotion agency will have around five to eight years' experience in the discipline, managing a variety sales promotional work such as on-pack coupons and point-of-sale marketing. The sales promotion account director will oversee the running of accounts, but the day-to-day management and work on these will be left to account managers and account executives. The sales promotion account director has considerable responsibility for the strategic direction of an account and is a client-facing role. Sales promotion account directors within sales promotion agencies may also have a business development role. As well as dedicated sales promotion agencies, integrated agencies covering other disciplines such as direct marketing may also be looking to hire sales promotion account directors.
