Based in modern offices in North London and with a highly motivated team of 24 people, Our Client is one of the UK's leading Communications agencies which has been consistently ranked in the top 10 of Televisual Magazine's 'Corporate Top 50 Survey' since 1999. They offer comprehensive communications and event services to a wide range of major clients all around the world.
They have created a new and senior position within their Production Department to manage and run the allocation of human resources to their various projects which may be live event, studio or video based. These resources will either be permanent or freelance staff. This role will involve identifying the right number of people with the most appropriate skill set, experience and aptitude to work on various projects and with their various clients, taking into account and trying to maximise the impact of "client/agency chemistry".
The successful applicant will be able to allocate exactly the right resources to the project.
Their position will require them to have a good understanding of the freelance market and to regularly interview people who have not worked with our Client before to gauge their suitability for future employment.
In addition, they would like the successful candidate to lead their Production and Studio staff training and development and to lead their Health and Safety strategy.
Clearly, this individual must have had previous experience in a senior role working within the industry. They see their skills being more weighted towards production based experience rather than human resources and they anticipate they will be working closely with their Human Resources Manager, the Heads of Studio and Production and the Directors.
The successful applicant will be a great communicator, be articulate and well educated, will be pro-active and have initiative and be capable of working in a fast changing environment where priorities and requirements change on a daily basis according to the work flow. Experience of managing staff will be essential.
As this is a new role within Our Client, they are looking for an individual who can make a positive impact to this area of their business.
