The Role

They have a great web design in-house team and we are currently looking for a Senior PHP/MySQL Developer. You will be working in their West End offices as a part of our growing web development team.

Job Description

Senior PHP/MySQL developer required to work in a top international promotions and marketing company. The projects will include programming of PHP/MySQL applications for in-house and client web sites.

and we're serious about building good functional web pages !

They require a 3+ years experience in PHP/MySQL and good general knowledge of the internet technologies and market.

Strong development skills, with the ability and confidence to work on a project from start to finish is a given. 

A strong understanding of the commercial reality of a meeting the needs of the business is a must!

Essential skills required 

- Proficiency in PHP 5 – programming databases and other applications

- Connectivity between servers and applications

- Knowledge of object oriented programming

- MySQL database administration

- Linux OS server knowledge

- Building HTML pages on the basis of the design provided (mainly user interface, forms, etc)

- Some JavaScript and Perl skills will be an asset

Desirable skills

- JavaScript, CSS, Object Orientated PHP 5

- Build level Photoshop and Dreamweaver

- Website reporting and statistics-

They work with fantastic clients such as Sony, AOL, Gillette, VW, O2, Vodafone and Pepsi.

You will be required to show a strong portfolio of sites with working URL's.
