Basic rate of tax down from 22% to 20%.  Lower rate of tax scrapped.

Casinos & Online Gambling;

A new 50 per cent tax (up from 40 per cent) on profits of larger casinos with gaming yields of £10 million p.a. is being introduced.

The Chancellor has axed the lower band of 2.5 per cent for the first £500,000.  Casinos will now pay taxes starting at 15 per cent.

A rate of 15 per cent tax for UK based on-line gambling operators is being introduced.
